Profile Pic Not Showing Up

One of our members at AdvisorConnect pointed out that his profile pic shows up in his profile and on the summary page, but not in the discussion forums. A bug?

Guys, I haven't messed with this myself in several months, but I'm being told by members joining my group that when they first join they have trouble adding a photo. So many choose not to add a photo. If they go back in later, I guess they can add it then. Is there something different about adding it when you join vs. later in the process? Thanks

Mark, I was able to confirm yesterday that new members do (at least sometimes) have difficulty adding a photo from our "Welcome" page. Once joined, members have no trouble adding the photo from within their Profile. I've opened the bug that's happening on our Welcome page as Ticket #1621.

per Diana's comment above, please share the status on this ticket. This is critical to my group since the photo isn't being added when joining and people don't go back and add it later. Please move this up on the priority list if you can. Thanks

I second Mark's plea. It's pretty hard to get people to add their pic, as it is. Thanks for looking into this.
Diana, I'm still having problems (as of tonight) with the member photos not showing up in discussions, but they are on the profile page. Was the fix you talked about retro-active, or is there something I need to do on my end to make all of the pictures show up?
Hi, Scott. The fix was retroactive. Have you tried logging out and closing your Web browser, and then logging back in to see if it's still happening? If that doesn't fix the issue, please send us a link to the topic(s) where you're seeing it happen, or you can post them here. We'll take a look to see what may be happening. Diana, I'd like to just confirm that the other issue ticket# 1621 is still open and unresolved? Users can't add a photo during the process of joining and have to go back in later to add a photo. Can you share the timing on when this one will be resolved? thanks again for your support!
Hi, Mark. Yes, ticket #1621 is still open. We're not able to provide you with an estimated time frame for completion, but I can tell you that fixing this is a top priority.

Liza, your members won't need to join Champions to see any of our FAQs (because this is a public Groupsite).
Another picture-related issue that I wasn't sure was related to this thread or not: I changed my social profile pic, but the change doesn't show up on my group's summary page. It is updated on my profile page, but nowhere else. Our group is set up with the social profile as the default.
Hi, Mark. Good news - new members can add their photos during the "join" process again! The bug you reported is fixed. (Ticket #1621)
@Liza - your correct profile pic should now be displaying, too.
