Groupsites are now customizable using drag-and-drop content modules. Your Groupsites' SUMMARY (home) page can now be completely customized and arranged by Groupsite managers. Using modules, Groupsite managers are able to highlight what's important and keep content fresh. Managers also have the ability to embed videos or widgets into content modules to be showcased on their Groupsite's SUMMARY page, custom pages or sidebars. Modules also have the added flexibility of enabling managers to embed them into external websites/blogs to drive more traffic back to specific areas of their Groupsite.
Modules come in two sizes:
Narrow (310 pixels wide)
and Wide (625 pixels wide)
There are 3 Module control buttons (add/delete/embed, Edit and Drag-and-Drop) available to Managers at the top right of any module.
Add/Delete/ Embed – Clicking this "cogwheel" icon reveals the following if you are in the main body of the Summary page:

Selecting “Embed this Module” shows:
Selecting “Get Embed Code” shows:
Select “Copy Code” and you can then “embed” this module wherever you choose by simply pasting the embed code into your blog, website or even another Groupsite.
All module types can be embedded except “Freeform Text”, “News Feeds” and Welcome Text”.
Drag-and-Drop – Clicking this icon allows you to easily move modules anywhere within the main body of the page. This feature also works in the sidebar area (you cannot, however, drag modules from the main body of the page to the sidebar).
Edit – This is where you can really make it your own. This is how you choose both the module “type” as well as the specific “view”. A preview of each module is shown so you know what to expect before completing this step by selecting “update”.

Note: Content module types such as "Freeform Text" can be of unlimited height. However, if you want to create a module that matches our "standard" modules (such as Calendar, Members, etc.) in height, choose 225, 455 or 810 pixels, with 225 being the most commonly offered and selected height.
