    You can delete a folder if you are a Groupsite Manager or the creator of the folder.

    Delete a folder by selecting the folder you want to delete and clicking on the small, gray "cogwheel" icon:


    Clicking this icon brings up a "folder actions" menu:

  • Using Custom Favorites Icons

    Groupsites offer the ability to upload a custom favorites icon -- also called favicons  - as part of the Premium Branding option. This is a small icon that appears in your web browser's address bar, on page tabs and next to the page name in your list of bookmarks.

  • Improvements in Content Modules

    To enhance security in Groupsites, we're changing how we handle the cool widgets and videos you add that use javascript. Javascript (HTML <script> tags) can be present in the embed codes you copy from other websites when you add widgets, video or other interactive content to a Groupsite via content modules.

    Starting May 3, 2010:

    When you embed widgets or video, you'll have the option to enter a module height. The Welcome Text, Freeform Text and Embed Widget/Video modules will include the option to set height in pixels or ems. For example:

  • How to - Log-in

    Every Groupsite is password-protected.  This means that even in a public, social groupsite, members need to enter their email address and password before they can start communicating, sharing and networking with the group.

    There are two ways to log-in to a Groupsite:

    1. Go to www.groupsite.com and click on the "LOGIN" button

    or

    2. Go to the web address {URL} for your Groupsite which will take you to the SUMMARY page of your Groupsite and you can either click the LOGIN link at the top or enter your email address and password in the right sidebar then hit the log-in ..

  • How to Edit a File in the File Cabinet

    Once a file is uploaded into the File Cabinet, a Groupsite manager and/or the member who uploaded the file can:

    • replace the file with a new one
    • change the file's name
    • change the upload date of the file
    • enter or modify a description of the file 

    This is done by editing the file. Here's how:

    1. Log-in to your Groupsite and go to the SHARE tab.

    2. Select the File Cabinet subtab.

    3. Locate the file you want to change.

    4. Click on the cogwheel button:

  • How to Create and Save Custom Invitation Text

    The ability to customize and save invitation text is a standard feature. It keeps you from having to re-craft or re-create a custom invitation.

    To do this, go to the MANAGER tab and select the "Invite Members" sub-tab. Scroll down to the "Write your invitations" area and:

    1 - Click within the text box to edit the existing text.

    2 - Click the "Send Invitations" button.

    3 - A pop-up window will appear. Type the name of your new invitation in the MESSAGE NAME box. Click SAVE AND CONTINUE.

    That's it!

  • How to - Change your City, State and Country
