Kick the Tires, Hard, and Understand How It Works.

Here’s what Michael shared:
“As a Groupsite manager, most members will look to you as their first line of support when it comes to questions about how to do things in their Groupsite. Some of these questions will be as general as ‘Where do I start?’ while others may be as specific as ‘How do I upload my profile photo?’
I have 3 tips for my fellow Groupsite managers that I think will help:
*1. Press Every Button* - Take the time to click every button, tab and navigation link in your Groupsite so you understand what’s there and what it does. Read all of the text that is provided under the “Manager†tab so you understand how the platform functions. You can’t break it so kick the tires hard and look under every nook and cranny.
Pay special attention to all of the choices under the “My Settings†tab, this is where your members begin telling their story and sharing themselves with the group.
*2. Become a Champion* – "Champions.collectivex.com":http://champions.collectivex.com is a fantastic resource where hundreds of other Groupsite managers from around the world compare notes on how to make things happen using Groupsites. Everything from feature requests to best practices are shared within this active group.
*3. Talk to the Team* - Finally, there is a great team of real people behind the Groupsite.com platform that really care about helping groups make things happen. If you have a question or suggestion, reach out to a member of the Groupsite.com team. Clarence (CEO), Shaun (CIO) and Bryan(Lead Developer) are active participants in the Champions group and are always willing to help.â€
