Display of non standard characters in people's names

One of my group members has asked the following. Is there a solution?

"I have created my profile but it seems that it is not possible to show my surname in a correct way. It appears as "Anel" instead of using the correct Spanish character (you can view it in a correct way in may web page: http://ft2dc.uvigo.es/juan/ijuan.html ).

It seems that ActiveX does not accept this kind of characters. Perhaps it would be possible to show it in a correct way configuring ActiveX to use UTF-8 codification.

Could you give me a solution to get my surname shown in a correct way?"

Thanks

Pete

Peter,

CollectiveX completely supports unicode characters and every page is served up with UTF-8 encoding.  Many of our members use international characters throughout their Groupsite.  Perhaps the user has set up their system to use a non-standard encoding?  This may require more investigation, but this is definitely an isolated incident and not the rule...
