Membership Requests and Login Form Customization

1) I'd like a place for potential members to go and submit a membership request—assuming they aren't signed up with Groupsite in any way. If there is something like this, can it be incorporated within my website (not my Groupsite), with the ability to customize it to fit my brand?
2) On a similar note, I know there is a snippet that allows me to place my Groupsite login on my website, but can the CSS be customized to make it fit better within the look and feel of my brand and site?

Hi Jared,
Regarding item #1: Unfortunately, we do not currently have a widget to duplicate Groupsite.com's request to join functionality.
Regarding item #2: We're not really sure if that widget can be customized, but feel free to give it a try, and let us know how you make out.
Sincerely,

How to people request membership for my groupsite? Do they have to sign up for groupsite first?
Hi Jared,
Currently, your St. Meyer & Hubbard Groupsite has limited visibility with its membership settings set to by "Invitation/Request." This means people can visit your Groupsite's URL and from the site's home page request to join. They'll use the Join link in the top right corner. You can also promote your Groupsite in other vehicles and link directly to its "join" page so folks can sign up.
When people request to join, they'll be prompted to create a user account with Groupsite.com. You can then review and process membership requests from the Manager > Pending Members > Membership Requests area of your site.
You can visit this link to see what a new member sees when they request to join. You can also see this view by visiting your Groupsite's join page at any time you are not logged in.
Anyone who has an existing account with Groupsite.com that is also joining your Groupsite will use the same user account. Members in multiple Groupsites move between their groups using the "Switch Groupsites" button found in all Groupsites.
