Endorsement length?

It appears that endorsements get truncated in your profile if they are longer than 256 characters. Yet there is no limit when you are typing them or in the email notification. What gives?

I agree, we definitely should have been handling this better.
Within the next few minutes, we will update the site to include checks for exceeding limits in all applicable text fields.
