Tested this on several of our sites - the link function does not appear to be working wither for objects or text.

Testing here: www.collectivex.com
Still trying to add a link - will not work in any of my groups. After I add the link and press save nothing happens altho these is an "error on page" showing at the bottom of the browser.
This is a Test Link to CollectiveX.com using the new editor. It seems to be working here.
Tim - what web browser and version are you using?
Tim - Are you using the link popup or are you trying to enter HTML?
@Tim - I'm going to close this bug, but if you're still having issues, would you please contact support@collectivex.com with the information that we requested above: Browser, Browser Version, and how you were trying to enter a link.
the thing is that this used to work fine for me - I already have links using the new editor that DO work but I can't add new ones.
IE7, Vista
What I did: opened editor in advanced editor view, highlighted text, clicked on link icon, entered URL as http://www.etc, clicked on save ... and nothing happens. Screen just sits there. I have not done anything different with settings, etc. so this is really strange. Any ideas?
Hey Tim,
I've re-opened this bug, and added [Windows Vista] to the title since it seems to be a Vista specific issue. We'll have a test environment dedicated to Windows Vista within a few days and we'll get this resolved for you.
i have had trouble posting links in IE7 but using XP. The problem occurs when I go to insert a link in regular text and dont put in the http:// - When asked if I want to include it I click "yes" then "insert" but the link box doesnt disappear.
I just fixed the issue under IE7 and the fix should go live with our next update.
