Changes to Content Modules - Action may be required
I just sent this blast:
Attention, Groupsite Managers!
To enhance security in Groupsites, we’re changing how we handle the cool widgets and videos you add that use javascript. Javascript (HTML <script> tags) can be present in the embed codes you copy from other websites when you add widgets, video or other interactive content to a Groupsite via content modules.
Starting May 3, 2010:
When you embed widgets or video, you’ll have the option to enter a module height. The Welcome Text, Freeform Text and Embed Widget/Video modules will include the option to set height in pixels or ems. See a screen shot.
If your code includes javascript, you’ll need to set a height for the module. You don’t have to be an expert. Our modules will prompt you to enter a height if your code does include javascript. See a screen shot.
Important! You may need to resize existing content modules. Modules you may have already placed in your Groupsite that contain javascript will default to a height of 220 pixels. If your content is taller, it may appear cut off. To correct this, you’ll need to edit the module and and set it to a larger height.
Javascript will be restricted to content modules.
Have questions? We’re here to help. Contact us here. Thanks for choosing Groupsites!
Sincerely,
Diana Giglio
