Calendar "all day event" repeating from date X to date Y does not include date Y ?

I was posting a conference in the events area and indicated that it was an "all day event" repeating from date X to date Y. When I looked it had not included date Y. In Outlook when you do this kind of thing it includes the end date. Why would we do this differently?
Also, it was not clear that the submit for RSVP and for submitting the event were unrelated. It seems as if the RSVP is a separate choice.
Best,
Jonathan

Thanks Jonathan,
If it's not including the end date, then that's definitely a bug. I'll look into this today.
Also, the RSVP is separate, only because an RSVP is tied to an _occurrence_ of an event. This is especially important for recurring events. I put a note at the bottom of the form, saying that you can send an RSVP on the next page. How do you think we could make that easier to understand?
Ok. I dont know that CollectiveX members realize that an RSVP is ONLY for an occurrence. I thought it was for the series. The interface for the events are a bit confusing, and you might look at how iCal does it. They are the defacto calendar standard.
I think what needs to happen is that a person needs to take care of entering the event first, and then attend to rsvp-ing etc. For example, let me feel sure that I created the event, and then upon successful submission follow by asking me about sending rsvp's. They are already 2 separate things, and if you are not letting members do them both at once you might as well keep it clearly separate.
We actually copied iCal pretty closely with our recurring events UI.
Maybe it would be clearer if we repeated the date and time for the event as a caption for the RSVP form once you click the link to open up the form? I'm not sure what else we would do, but that would probably suffice.
We can't let people send out an RSVP at the same time though, since each event's occurrence is a separate thing. You wouldn't really expect people to keep responding to an RSVP from a year ago every single week for a weekly event.
What would be nice, however, would be if we allowed scheduling automatic RSVP messages for events.
Allow a preview of anything a recipient might receive. You can keep the 2 things distinct.....just make sure users know that they ARE distinct. Thats why users sit there frozen, not knowing for sure what the result will be when hitting either button: Maybe separate the two functions better visually
