RSVP invite sending out wrong URL

This is the actual URL of an event: http://washingtondc.collectivex.com/calendar/event/2007/7/31/17008
This is the URL in the invite that was just sent:
http://washingtondc.collectivex.com/calendar/2007/7/31/event/17008
Either way, I'm getting complaints from my users that they're getting the following error messages (as am I):
CollectiveX :: 404
That page couldn't be found.. if you came here from another site, check the URL and try again; otherwise, perhaps that item has been deleted?
Use the Back Button on your browser to return to the previous page.

Thanks for pointing this out Neil.
We recently had to change the URLs used for events to allow us to have greater control over search engine indexing. The format for controlling whether a search engine indexes a page is very, very limited and we needed to have URLs that have the more relevant information first in the URL.
I'm sorry that we missed the event emails, but I have fixed this now and you should see the update within the next few minutes.
It's fixed now, thanks. In a related yet separate issue, I got the attached message - I can't figure out how to tell who it's from, or how they sent it. !http://www.collectivex.com/uploads/files/11779/eventmessage.png!
Neil, you can always see the details of the event by clicking the "View Event Details" link the email.
I'm the person who sent the event invite. The link just goes back to the event I invited this unknown person to, and I don't know how they sent this message.
Do you have any managers in your group?
Is the permission control for sending Calendar RSVP's turned on?
If the permission for sending Calendar RSVP is turned on, then this is how they sent the message.
1. How do I find out who sent this message?
2. How do I turn on/off permissions for Calendar RSVPs? I can't find it.
3. I'm the only manager in my group.
4. How did they send this message? I sure hope it didn't go to everybody.
I'll look up who sent it for you. Previously, we've always shown the initiator of the event as the sender, I'm assuming since some managers have others send the RSVP for them. However, your situation is more important in my opinion. You need to be able to see who actually sent the message, instead of having it look like it was sent by the person who created the event.
Anyhow, your basic permission controls look like this:

That is where you can control this feature.
I'll send you an email letting you know who sent the invite.
I see - so someone unknowingly sent out an RSVP invite to the entire group, thinking they were responding to just me. Ugh, that's why I lost a member, because they thought the group was becoming a listserv. I've since set 'Send Calendar Invites' to 'Only Managers'.
