Allow ALL members of this group to invite new members - *checked*
Membership: By Request Approval or by Invitation - *selected*
It was always set up this way.
...and I see Pending Members invited by other people when they invite other people.
However, in the last few days, three people that never showed up in Membership Requests or Pending Members simply popped up as approved new group members. How did this happen?

Neil,
Membership by Request Approval or Invitation means that invited members are deemed approved because they were invited. Non-invited members have to reqest approval. So if your group is set to allow members to invite others to the group, those invited members don't need approval because they were invited.
I hope this helps.
Is there a way to find out who invited the invited members who already accepted?
At present there is not a way. However we do store the data so it wouldn't be difficult for us to add. Maybe adding it to the manager/members sub-tab would make sense. Or we could show the invitor on each users profile. What are your thoughts?
IMO it's absolutely imperative to add it to the manager's section. The whole key to a moderated membership is being able to screen new members to some degree, and that's achieved when new members either have to be approved by a moderator after requesting, or are directly invited by the moderator. Having one 'mole' invite whoever they want (such as if this group allowed it) would subvert much of the point of moderating it in the first place, especially when you get invitees of the invitees inviting invitees, and once it starts, you've pretty much lost all control. Being able to see the referrer at least allows you to moderate that.
There are several approaches that could be taken to solve this issue. The simplest would be to allow managers to track it from the manager/members area... Which is probably what we'll implement in the short term. So expect to see it within the next few days.

Was this implemented? I can't find it...
Hey guys, with the latest release of our profile enhancements, including endorsements, you can now see who invited somebody in their profile, because it shows up as an endorsement.
Shortly, we'll be adding this feature to the manager area as well.
I just want to say that the CollectiveX platform is becoming more and more of an integral part of growing several businesses and communities that I'm involved with. That said, it's really important to be able to keep track of where new members to the group are coming from, and to credit the people who are bringing them in. *This is one of the biggest incentives we have in growing the groupsite memberships!*
That said, I still don't see where on the individual's profiles that were invited, who invited them. Also, any idea when the managers will be able to see a listing of the members with the people who invited them alongside?
To clarify, some members' profiles display who invited them, but some don't, especially the latest ones including one today. The manager's section says they were invited.
