Problems with Member lists export

Hi,
Contrary to the past, I recently experience some problems in exporting the member lists of my community, as well in .CSV as in .XML. (Manager section > Members)
A window appears mentioning that IE (6) cannot download the lists.
So maybe there's a little bug in it?
Best regards
Filip

Filip, I'll look into this right way. I'll be sure to try it with IE 6.
Alright, well I've discovered that this is actually a well known Microsoft bug affecting only Internet Explorer 6. If the content to be downloaded is not cacheable (member lists should never be cached) and the browser is instructed to download the file as an attachment, IE actually decides to delete the file before it can be viewed. Microsoft has never even attempted to fix this bug, so we'll have to workaround it.
If you're interested I could post links to various sites discussing this bug, but I don't want to inundate you with that sort of thing. :)
Okay, Filip, I've added a workaround for this issue in IE 6.
Let me know if you have anymore problems.
Thanks Joe!
The export works fine now.
Kind regards
Filip
this problem is back (I am using IE 7.0.) Is there something I should be doing at my end to be able to download the member list? I really need this function to work.
Ralph,
Sorry for the trouble. This is also happening for me in IE 7 and I've opened support ticket #1505 so we can take a look at it.
In the meantime, you may want to download and access your Groupsite from the Mozilla Firefox browser. I am using Firefox 3.0.10 and am able to export lists without any problem.
