Search Not Working

Search has not worked for 2 days. Saying there is a known issue and that it is being updated. Any idea when this will be corrected?

Search is STILL not working - reads temporarily offline--- What is the ETA on solution
Ed - Search was inexplicably causing random crashes so we decided to take it offline until we could stabilize and isolate the cause in a test environment. We understand this is not desirable but felt it was the lesser of two evils. It is getting serious attention and we are as anxious as you are to see it back online and stable.

Thanks, Shaun and everyone for working on getting search back up as soon as possible. I too have been stymied by this search function not working.
Stephen - Just wanted to assure you that fixing search remains a high priority. We're still scrubbing a few glitches that we found and want to make sure we complete the scrub before relaunching.

Thanks for being patient with the search feature. After some infrastructure improvements, the search indexes are (finally) in the midst of being rebuilt. This will take several hours, and then search will be enabled again.
