Unable to upload mp3 files to new version of site

We have been trying to upload our rehearsal tracks in mp3 format to our groupsite. This has worked fine ever since we have been using GroupSite for our choir rehearsals (more than 10 years). Now when I drag and drop an mp3 file to the upload area, I get the following message:
File Creation failed. File content type is invalid. File is invalid
Has anyone else found this problem, and what is the solution?
If it turns out we cannot do this any more we will have to abandon Groupsite altogether, as sharing mp3 rehearsal tracks (all legally owned and created and shared by our choir director, so no copyright issues here) is the most important function of the site.

This issue has been escalated to Groupsite's development team on 9/23. We expect this to be resolved in the next several days. At this time, there is no exact time frame.
It would appear that this problem has been fixed. I was just able to upload a couple of test MP3s. Can you confirm that this is the case and wasn't just a lucky day? Thanks.
