In need of a tune-up
Here's the problem when you work so good: you raise our expectations. Yesterday, I was not a happy camper. The Cx level of service I trust wasn't there.
I've been a big advocate of Cx since we started using it. It runs fasts. It's very rarely down. It's easy to use. Personal service. We've been excited to see the new version for months. We really needed calendar tagging to help us organize events, member tagging to separate our members into committees and locales. And blogging to promote our site.
We got the upgrade with a wider screen format and blogging, but not the features we were craving: No tagging of any kind. The big challenges now are very slow load times, quite a few bugs and it's not running very stable on Safari (had to download FF3).
Here's hoping the Cx team shines this release up in a hurry. I don't have the time or energy to be a bug fixer.

Hi Charlie
I have found the upgrade buggy and slow, but have been able to edit on a mac. Anything specific you have not been able to edit, I can try it out my end.
Charlie,
I have to ask: what version of Mac OS and what version of Safari are you using?
The reason I ask is that, as you may already know, the entire CollectiveX team uses Macs exclusively. We all run Mac OS X Leopard, and we all use Safari 3.0.
If our software doesn't work on a Mac - it doesn't get released. Period.
Also, it's worth mentioning that I've found Safari to be one of the faster browsers using our new site - in fact, in most cases, it is the fastest hands down. Except for Google Chrome, which seems to be beating everything these days - and Firefox 3.0 comes pretty darn close too.
My guess would be that you're using Safari 2.0 - or.... our site was experiencing so many slowdowns on the first day or two of our release that it didn't really matter which browser you used - it was just a luck of the draw....
Any thoughts?
Joe -
I think it was first day issues. My managers on windows were able to make changes and the system would hang up on me every time.
I use Safari 3.1.2. The site is working much better.
Thanks for all you do, Joe.
