Enhanced Groupsites Arrival Preparation

Hey Champions, we just sent the following email to all those managers who have currently customized elements in their Groupsite to facilitate a smooth transition to our enhanced Groupsites format coming just after Labor Day.

Here's what the email said:

Hi,
Great news! Enhanced Groupsites are right around the corner – with major changes to make it even easier for your group to communicate, share and network.
When changes go into effect (expected September 3, 2008), Groupsites will have a wider interface than they do now.

One or more of the Groupsites you manage may be affected.
You may need to take action to ensure a smooth transition.

********************************************************

Answer this to determine if your Groupsite will be affected:

Does your Groupsite have...

• Custom Branding enabled and a Custom Header graphic?

• Customization to the Groupsite Description Area with graphics, multi-media or other non-text elements? (HTML, Widgets, Flash, Videos, etc.).


• Customization to the Sidebars with graphics, multi-media or other non-text elements? (HTML, Widgets, Flash, Videos, etc.).

Note: The GROUPSITE DESCRIPTION AREA is located at the top of your Groupsite Summary page. SIDEBARS are located on the Summary, Members, Discussions and My Settings pages.
