Private Subgroup Active Should Not Be Listed in Site Activty

If a subgroup is private or even limited, you should have the option to not have the activity of these areas listed in the overall site activty. If this is an option already and I am missing it somewhere, I would be so happy if someone can show me how to do that. If I have a private group, I do not want forum topics being listed on the homepage for everyone to click on and then just be told that you don't have access to this discussion. Any thoughts?

I actually signed up as another test account and I think it works that if you are not a member of the group, it does not show up in the site activity. If you are a member, you will see it. Can someone confirm this?
that is my experience as well.
Yes, only members of the private subgroup have that activity listed on their summary pages, etc. It doesn't show up for non-members of the subgroup.
