Problem for person trying to accept invitation

I have created our groupsite and invited folks in the community to join in a beta testing phase. My profile is linked to an individual email address I have. I have invited my husband via our shared email address. I cannot see where this shared address is linked to my profile on the site. When he tries to accept the invitation it takes him to the site and says that he is already a member of the group and doesn't need to sign up again but it is my profile that is showing. How can we fix this situation so he can sign up his own profile using our shared account, which he uses exclusively.

Hi, Evan. A few things to try that may help (especially if you are working from a shared computer):
-- When you log-in, be sure you don't choose the "remember me" option option. This works by storing a cookie, which might be causing your trouble.
-- Be sure you log-out from your Groupsite(s) before your husband tries to accept his invitation.
-- Have your husband clear the Web browser cache and cookies before trying to accept your invitation. You can learn more here:

If you're not working from a shared computer, or your husband is still having trouble, please respond to the message we sent to you from support. Once we have his name and email address, we'll be able to review his invitation to make sure there's nothing unusual, as well as help him directly with any log-in trouble.
