Image doesn't show up in home page

Hello,

I've noticed that sometimes when I come into my collectivex site's home page (ionata.collectivex.com), an image I have in the first free text box doesn't show up.

This seems to happen most commonly when I start my browser by clicking a link from an email generated by my site, which takes me to (for example) a discussion topic. When I navigate from the discussion topic to the home page, everything but the image comes up. I usually have to do a few page refreshes before it comes up. I am using IE8.

Is this a known problem?
