We have our community site http://communities.nasscom.in which is mapped to http://nasscom-emerge.collectivex.com. I am trying if can use the domain http://communities.nasscom.in to send out the email notifications as it will add to the recall factor. Do let me know if this can be done.
If this is a paid feature...please do let me know and we can setup the same.
Regards,
Avinash

Avinash,
We implement DomainKeys, SenderID and SPF to make sure that we are able to achieve much higher standard of email deliverability.
If we were to implement this feature, none of the above features would work properly because they all depend on custom TXT DNS records and additional configuration. You would have a lot more trouble getting emails through some of the bigger email providers without the above measures, especially when sending in bulk (like notifications do).
I won't rule this out for the future, but if you're managing your own DNS... you would be in charge of all of those TXT records. If we're managing your DNS, it is technically feasible to accomplish such a thing in an automated fashion.
Joe, Thanks so much for responding. It is little technical for me. But as far as my knowledge goes we do manage our DNS and we should be able to make these changes if provided by you. We can change the TXT records..if you provide us the instructions.
Thanks.
