1. Log-in to your Groupsite.
2. Click on the SUBGROUPS tab in the main navigation bar. Select "My Subgroups" from the drop down menu. A new page will load, displaying your available subgroups.
3. Select the subgroup you want to reach via email blast. This action will take you into that subgroup and load its home page.
4. Click on the COMMUNICATE tab. Select "Email Blast" from the drop down menu.

5. Enter the subject line and content of your email blast using the text editor.
6. If you want to create a Discussion Topic from the email blast, select "Create a new discussion from this blast?". A new Discussion Topic will be created and the email blast will be the first post.
7. Click on the PREVIEW button to preview your email.
8. Click on the SEND EMAIL button.
You're done! When you send the email blast, only members of that subgroup are recipients. If you selected "Create a Discussion" a new Discussion Topic will automatically be created on the subgroup's Discussion page.
Note: References to subgroups, including the subgroups tab, may have been renamed by your group's managers and appear as "teams", "chapters", "communities", etc.
