Files in backwards chronological order

Thank you for your inquiry.

When landing within the File Cabinet, look for a symbol beside Modified Date.  If there is not one, click right beside Modified Date. Then when you see the symbol, you can choose ascending or descending order.  Thanks.

Yes that is the solution to the problem, but who decided that people would normally want to see their oldest files first? What would be the use case for that? It also seems to take two clicks on the symbol to effect sorting by newest first, as if the toggle is only applied after the first click, and the first click set to sorting by oldest first, which is the default anyway.

I agree with Richard. Newest files should automatically be at top of the list, not the other way around.
