Discussion Posts/Reply by Email - Simply create or reply to discussions right from email. This functionality is available to Groupsites who have subscribed to the Small Team Plan and above.
- Create New Topics - Post new
topics via email. Each forum has its own email address, visible from the forum.
- Reply to Posts - Hit "reply" in your email client to post a reply to a discussion.
- Private Messages - Reply to private messages via email.
Each forum has its own email address. By default, these email addresses are "forum+@mydomain.groupsite.com". For a more memorable email address, Groupsite managers can click "Edit Forum" and choose an email that fits the forum.
For our Groupsites using a Custom Domain Name: please note, the email address to send these emails uses the groupsite.com domain. The ability to send and receive emails on custom domains is not available. Doing so opens up a huge host of mail delivery problems, so we couldn't offer this now. We're sorry for any inconvenience.
