Important: Changing the "Group Name" is easy and self-serve (see video below).
Changing the underlying URL (web address) is not a self-serve option. This request must be made through an email request sent to support.
Be aware: If we change the underlying URL, any hyperlinks to Groupsite content that were added by you or any group members will no longer work. They must be re-created using the new URL (here's a post about using hyperlinks).
Also, any links in emails sent from the Groupsite (invites, email blasts, discussions etc.) prior to the URL change that contain hyperlinks will also also become broken links. Note: you can prevent this from happening by purchasing our Custom Domain Name option. A Custom Domain Name will allow you to use a different URL and also does not break links within your Groupsite or in emails sent from the Groupsite.
