Yes We Did!

Dear Friends,

I have always been proud to be an African-American... but witnessing history last night, when America chose HOPE by crossing all divides and electing Barack Obama as our President, made me proud to be an American... and proud of America!

As an African-American male growing up in America, I have always felt fortunate because my parents instilled in me the confidence that I could accomplish anything that I set my mind to.  So despite obstacles, I have always believed that all things are possible. This belief has shaped me as a man and has provided the foundation for my success as an entrepreneur.  But what Barack Obama accomplished by becoming the first Black President of America will forever change me as an American - and will forever change the psyche of all Americans.

This historic event is unquestionably a turning point for our country and the world's perception of us.  We proved that democracy in America is not hypocrisy... it is now - ALL inclusive.  I personally feel that Americans, as diverse as we are, by coming together despite our differences, set an example that the World can follow - and that my friends, is what being a superpower is all about.

God Bless America!
