What I like about Version 2 (to be fair considering bugs get all the attention!)
- Create a Page feature really enhances my ability to add content to the groupsite. Note: would be great to have hidden pages that can be linked from visible (Shaun agrees). See post here: http://champions.collectivex.com/discussion/topic/show/94433
- Add Modules are flexible and very useful and like the ability to embed elsewhere to draw members to the site from some of their other sites
- Tighter menu and tabbing.. easier navigation, less clutter
- Group blog - another great way to add content to the site
- Wider pages, cleaner look
- Everything search feature omnipresent
- Customization of all the colors (tabs, menus, etc)
Looking forward to the permissions tagging and subgroups but for now, great work CollectiveX Team!
What other features do you like about V2?

I have been really happy with modules, wider format, calendar list view, group blog, email blast list, new icon set, and the flexibility of the "recent activity" module.
LOL. Garth, you pretty much named everything :-) Thats good. Sorry for the early hiccups with bugs... but it's not easy rolling our a new release. We are very pleased with the results we're seeing now that we're stable.
Keep up the great feedback and spread the word!
I agree that the new format is great - still kept the ease of use while customization is great. I really love the new feature also of embedding a log-in. I intend to utlize that one!
The timing of the release could have been difficult, but it worked out perfectly. Out & Equal was in the midst of our Annual Workplace Summit, and we were able to showcase our networks on CollectiveX to over 2,000 attendees representing 42 U.S. states, 17 countries and over 500 companies (many of which are Fortune 500). I've been getting good feedback, and hope that these companies also utilize CX - your success is our success.
Now I am eagerly awaiting member tagging and permissions!
Thank you for all your hard work on Groupsites. We have a small homeschool group (50 families) that is using CX for our communications. I am so grateful we found your site. So far, we've been so pleased! I appreciate the constant improvements and quick responsiveness by your staff to questions and concerns. It means a lot!
Ditto to the above. I love the platform so much, I'm building an entire business on top of it. This is as scary as it is exciting. My success, at least in part, depends on the success of CX. If CX continues to innovate (as they did in Version 2), listen to it's customers, and outshine the competition, together, our businesses should thrive. I'm a big fan and hope the best for you guys. Congrats on the recent article in the The Baltimore Business Journal!
