Re-Invites

I have a rather long list of pending members that i wish to re-invite. Unfortunately, I can't use the nifty re-invite function because the previous invite message is now outdated and I need to send a more current message.
I thought of manually withdrawing the previous invite and then sending out a batch of new invites with the current invite message, but I think, after some experimentation, that that wont either as the system remembers the email addresses of recent invites, even if I withdraw that invite.
I'd be most grateful if you could suggest a workaround solution, as I am now stuck?

The "Reinvite All" function allow you specify either an existing invitation message or a new invitation message. Unless there's something I'm missing, wouldn't that be sufficient?

Yes, if it gives me an option to specify a new message, that'd be good.I didnt think because when i sendn single re-invites, that option is not available to me. Can I assume that it wont reinvite pending members who have indicated that they dont wish to be sent further notices?
