Stored information for members...?

If I deny someone, will it remain stored somewhere in the site, or could they apply again. Also, if THEY decline, do I have to keep those names saved off-site, or will the site know to not send an invitation, should they be invited again?

Hi Jason,
Thank you for asking about membership denials / declines. As a Manager, if you deny a request to join, the Groupsite database remembers that denial. The person could request to join again using the same email address but they will receive a message that their membership was declined. This second request will not create a membership request in the Groupsite.
However, if the same person requests to join with a different email address it is as if they are requesting as a new person. The Groupsite database identifies members by unique email addresses. A request to join using a new email address will create a membership request in the Groupsite.
If Managers send out invitations to join the Groupsite, and the invitee declines, the Groupsite database remembers this decline and the email can not be invited again. If the invitation was declined by accident, the person could request to join (if allowed by the Manager's permission selections as a membership option) using the same email address. Requesting to join and Invitations are not mutually exclusive processes.
I hope this answers your questions. If you have questions specific to your group, please email support@groupsite.com.
