Alert when post not submitted

I have often created a post and navigated away before submitting it, and lost the post. This happens to me most often when I preview the message, and forget to actually submit it. I would find it helpful if whenever I navigate away without submitting, an alert popped up notifying me that the message has not been submitted, would I like to submit it now, or something of that sort.

I also have noticed I can't cancel a reply, only preview or submit. Cancel is only an option on creating a new topic or editing a topic. I suppose you would need to add a cancel option to replies if you implemented the above suggestion, because the only way to cancel a reply to a topic is to navigate away, and it would be annoying to get a pop-up that you didn't submit the post if you already know that, but have no other way to cancel it.
