The key connections stuff is a bit annoying in my group. Being a manager and not being able to view the connections that members provide simply cause I havent provided as many is a pointless feature. The fact that members provide connections in my group is essential for getting to know other therapists in my area. Can we lose this feature in the future?

Yes. This will be an option that can be st by the manager in our next release.
Will there be a feature where members can add other members to their connection and start building networks as well.

Has this feature been updated? I'm a bit perplexed by members of my groupsite not being able to share key connections unless they have entered at least as many connections as the next member?

The original thought was that in small group settings, people would want to share their relationships "fairly" with those who were sharing with them. However, the idea of setting a limit does seem outdated based on how Groupsites and types of groups using them have evolved. This feature will be updated in the future to allow all members to view key connections regardless of how many (if any) they have entered.
For reference, I'll note this change is requested on our internal Ticket #977, but I'm sorry, we don't have specifics about when it will happen.
Hi, i'm new to Groupsites, and was wondering about the above mentioned feature as well - is there any clarity yet on when these limitations will be removed?
I would like all members to be able to see all connections (as it may be that 1 connection is better than 20 'less significant' connections)

Welcome to Groupsites and thanks for visiting us here in Champions! Today we are a small team and one of our challenges, due to many (and very fluid) priorities, is projecting delivery dates for changes and enhancements.
For that reason I'm unable to provide a date for when the restriction on shared connections will be removed.
I can say in all confidence that we'd like to see it happen as soon as possible. I've made note to post here when the change is made and hope this helps.
I am looking to remove this Key Connections link? Has a feature for that been added yet?
Hi, Jeffrey -- At this time, we aren't planning to add controls that would allow you to remove the "Key Connections" feature. However, in the future, we will be removing the restriction that limits a member to only viewing as many Key Connections as they may have shared.
