Kristina - We currently do not have a polling feature as a core offering. Many groups have inserted widgets like the PollDaddy widget you can see on the Summary page of this group in the right column.
We do intend to incorporate the ability to poll group members.

Is there an ETA? This will really be a very useful feature for my groups.
Also, just a suggestion, perhaps you can add a category of "Non-Profit" groups which I did not find so, I chose Community, instead of Other when I joined in.

Kristina -- polling capability is the one functionality item that wasn't here that I would have liked also, but until it is, I'd suggest using www.SurveyMonkey.com -- I've used it before for work, and it's fairly easy to set up surveys. At one time I did have the paid subscription for work reasons, and was very happy with the quality of the surveys / reports I was able to get. Currently, I have the free account, which allows you to build basic 10-question surveys. It meets my current needs. Hopefully this will help.
