Can't change e-mail address

One of our members (a board member, no less) is having trouble changing his e-mail address on our Groupsite account. He's gone into his profile and added another e-mail address, has received the verification e-mail and verified it, but it still doesn't show up on his account. Can you tell me how I can fix this so he can use his new e-mail address for his Groupsite account?

In order to better assist you, we need additional information before we suggest/post steps to
resolve the issue reported because the source of the problem reported by the
previous poster may be completely different than what you/your members are experiencing.
1.Are your members having trouble with following the steps to add a second email address?
2. Are your members Not receiving the verification email in their email inbox?
3. Are your members having trouble deleting the old email address?
Please provide us with the full name and email address of a user who is having a problem changing their email address.
