Google calendar integration?

Google calendar allows users to view multiple calendars overlaid on top of one another (and color-coded!). As part of this, users can opt to view various public calendars. I'm happy to maintain my group's calendar on CollectiveX, but I'd love to be able to publish it as a public calendar so that Google users who are also groupsite members can view it day to day. I know that would increase my own attendance at events! Is this possible?

I've suggested Groupsites to a group of event managers who are also looking at using google calendars as a way of seeing what events might conflict with each other. Some of this needs to be private for a period of time while in planning stages. The option to integreate calendars a la google is an incentive. I'm interested in the topic raised by Amy and any other thougths about groupsites calendars vs. google calendar.
[my biggest objection to google is the way the google account sign in does not like my firefox preference of looking at each request for cookies. Even though I accept Google's request, they want it to be a blanket acceptance. As a result, I only sign in to Google using IE.]
