Email Blast Font

Hi Bridget,

You can make the default font size bigger and/or change the font family, but the change is just for that specific email. After sending the email, our system will revert back to the default font size/family.

The problem is actually our code not working to well with GMail or a lot of other email clients.  For example, the default font size displays at about 10.5 pt. Our code attempts to set it to something more reasonable, but it does not do it in such a way that works with GMail (or a lot of other email clients for that matter). GMail is particularly bad though because some of the styles on their page interfere resulting in really small text.  We have a ticket in to attempt to resolve this, but it is quite challenging to resolve. There is a link below to a document from our Email Client that explains the issue further and provides tips/suggestions.

 That said, you can change the font size/family in your blasts from the WYSIWYG editor. This will work because the WYSIWYG editor applies the font size/family in what would normally be the "wrong" way, but in email it turns out this is the only way that works consistently.

I often change my font size to 14pt which I have to admit is probably too big. You could probably change it to 12pt font and be fine. Keep in mind that font change is only for that particular blast, as the font will default back to the system default once the blast has been sent.
