Embedding a picture, logo etc

How do I put a png or jpeg etc into a module so that it shows the image rather than the attachment. For example I have a Walmart logo which I want to show on a variety of pages in the main page, subgroup pages or sidebar modules etc...

Hi Celeste, I put in several questions to support on Jan 17, none of which have been answered. Any way you can expedite as I am on a trial and trying to determine what my limitations are.
