Frustrated with the kluginess of Groupsite

I'm getting pretty fed up with the kluginess of my Groupsite as I try to organize modules on the home page. Wheneve I add a new module, the formatting goes crazy and everything is out of position.
It's so frustrating to me, I'm about to switch over to Ning. I could use some assistance. Please contact me.

We reviewed your site's summary page. We recommend that when using a module, be mindful of the placeholders that you use. Whatever placeholder you choose, that space will be reserved/held. For example, if you are adding a Group Blog Module, and you do not yet have any posts, we recommend that you "Not" use the place holder for "6 per page". You may want to start out with "2 per page" and increase this when necessary.
Similarly, if you are adding a calendar module, consider the amount of events that you have. You may want to select "3 per page" instead of "6 per page". We will be able to provide more assistance to you when you write to support@groupsite.com
