subgroup member number limit?

Is there any limit to the number of people who can join a subgroup? One of our subgroups currently has 285 members in it. The subgroup administrators are currently running a promo to get additional people to join but say that when the new Groupsite members select their subgroup and join, their names aren't actually showing up in the subgroup.

Hi Kathleen,
No, there is no intended limit in the number of users in a subgroup. It could be a timing issue especially if you are inviting non-group members to subgroups. Non-group members have to first accept the main group invite before either being auto assigned or accepting the subgroup invite. Please provide me with the name and email address of a user who accepted a subgroup invite or was auto assigned into a subgroup but is not listed in that subgroup. Please do not share your user's information here. Write to us at support@groupsite.com.
Sincerely,
