raise the profile of the search bar

Searching is a really important part of finding out what's going on in a group. But the search bar is understated and doesn't appear on every page. I find that I keep going back to the summary page to search. There isn't even a search bar in the discussion area! I'd love to see the search module in the navigation area.

We totally agree with you on this.
In fact, in the near future, an update to the search feature will not only feature it more prominently, but also provide a higher level of functionality.
