RSVP info is wiped out when you edit event information

We sent out a preliminary invitation to an event so that we could get an indication of how many people would come. Then when I added the final event details all the RSVP information was wiped out! So now everyone has to RSVP all over again.

If you change the time and/or date of an event, this affects all RSVP information for the event - people have not RSVP-ed for the new date and time, they have RSVP-ed for the old date and time.
However, we will be updating RSVP functionality shortly to assist with this sort of transition.
Hm. Yes, I guess I did change the time...but I wouldn't have done so if I had known the information would be wiped out! That's different from how eVite handles this circumstance...and eVite is your main competition in this area.
Amy - Point well taken. We pride ourselves on combining the "most useful" features of online groups and listserves, collaboration software and social networks. We are not trying to duplicate everything that evite does but this is certainly a feature we need to take into account. Thanks for pointing it out.
