activity emails updates

We are using the activity email updates as a notice to set work in motion. We have it set to go out weekly. Is there a way to adjust what day it will go out? ie. friday? how is the system set up to send notices?

Hi Kate,
I am sorry, you are unable to select the specific day of the week that your recent activity digests are delivered. When a Groupsite is created it is automatically placed in a mail delivery order. Our system does it automatically to balance out the mail processing/delivery on our Platform. For example, half of all groups get their semi-weekly recent activity updates on Tu/F and the other half on M/Th. You do not get to choose the specific days.

OK, so if i get a weekly email on a certain day, i should expect it to come on the same day next week?

Yes, that's correct you should receive it on the same day of the week. Although if we are working on minor system updates or deploying new functionality we will sometimes manually delay the Recent Activity Updates. Most people will not notice the delay and it does not happen often.
