Trackback is something associated with blogs and not really related to your Groupsite.
We have a blog for Wood End Farms... how would I use trackback with our blog?
Kristen, I had the same question.
Here's what I found.
According to the Wikipedia entry: The TrackBack specification was created by Six Apart, who first implemented it in their Movable Type blogging software in August 2002.[1]
It has since been implemented in most other blogging tools. Six Apart
started a working group in February 2006 to improve the Trackback
protocol with the goal to eventually have it approved as an internet
standard by the IETF. One notable blogging service that does not support trackback yet is Blogger. Instead, Blogger provides "backlinks" [1] which allows users to employ Google's search infrastructure to show links between blog entries.
