Wide Navigation Menu Titles Break UI

Groupsite keeps menus to a fixed width. This creates a broken appearance when menu titles are wider then the menu that drops down. Please see Biz Challenge Groups here:

We've reviewed ticket # #17553749. Based on our findings, we are not pursuing making any changes at this time. For
technical purposes, the menus must remain fixed width.
The two other
options we have are:
1. limit the width of the menu header; and
2.
increase the size of all menus.
now. #2 looks silly for the normal case, where the headers and
links aren't really wide.
Our recommendation is that you choose a shorter name for your subgroups. The limit is (approximately 20 characters
