deleting and rinstating subgroups

Hi

My groupsite members are not currently using subgroups.  I know how to remove the subgroup tab.  If I remove the subgroup tab now, can I create a subgroup tab in the future? Will I need to upgrade groupsite to get back this funciton if I remove it now?

Hi Melody,

Can you tell us the the full name and URL of the Groupsite to which you are requesting information.  Also, please write to us at support@groupsite.com as you will need to provide us with follow up information specific to your Groupsite.

Sincerely,

Hi Celeste

The full name is d2dlgroupsite.com.  This stands for day to day living groupsite.  I cannot access my work email adress today.  Could you please email whatever 'follow up information" I need to provide specific to my groupsite and I will get someone to reply.

Hi Melody,

You have given me enough information that I can answer your question without revealing "Private" information about your group.  The D2DL Groupsite has been "Grandfathered into one of our old subscription plans, the "Midsize Pro Bundle".  Because of this, you have unlimited subgroups under this plan until you decide to upgrade to a new plan, or are required to upgrade to a new plan because of the number of users in your Groupsite.

FYI, when you disable the subgroup feature, you are not canceling the subscription to the subgroup feature, you are just opting not to use the feature and opting not to make the subgroup tab visible to your users; although the tab will still be visible to all Groupsite Managers in the D2DL Groupsite.   Once you disable the subgroup feature, you can enable it at anytime.

I hope this information helps.

Sincerely,

Celeste,

In our EEI RestorePower Workroom, a previous manager changed the subgroup tab to say "RMAGs". I want to keep that and add another tab beside it called "Subgroups". I then want to move a subgroup from under "RMAGs" to go under the newly added "Subgroup" tab. Is this doable and how?

Thanks!

Randy
