Accessing files from URL in document

Hi,
I have a problem where we distribute to our group members an Excel workbook that contains a series of hyperlinks to files in the file cabinet. The problem is that clicking on any of these links launches the browser to the login page and consumes the original link. i.e. once login is completed, the user is not redirected to the file in the cabinet. This happens irrespective of whether the browser is already open and the user logged in, cookie settings, etc.
Currently I have two awkward work arounds:
- edit hyperlink in Excel and copy the URL to clipboard, log into groupsite and then paste url in browser address bar
- manually navigate file cabinet to find relevant file
Is anyone able to suggest an alternative approach? Or is it time for a feature request?
Regards,
Andrew

Bump - any comments from Groupsite people?
It's also interesting to note that links to discussion topics work OK from within documents in other applications. So issue seems to be confined to the file cabinet.
Celeste - it feels like I'm talking in an empty room here!

Hi Andrew,
Please write to us at support@groupsite.com and provide us with a couple of the hyperlinks to these specific files. We will also need to know if your users are logged in when they attempt to click on these hyperlinks, and if the files that they are being directed to are accessible by anyone or just members?
Thanks,

Thanks Celeste - will do.
For the benefit of anyone else reading this discussion, I have just found that the issue is related to the fact that we access our groupsite through a different domain name. If I edit the URLs to refer to <oursite>.groupsite.com instead of www.<oursite>.<ourdomain> then everything works OK.
I've asked support whether it's possible to have this work within our own domain name.
