Need to send email functionality like Yahoo! Groups and Google Groups.

Is there any forward movement with implementing this feature yet?!?
Not having this feature has become a real big issue for our membership
and as much as they really really love Groupsite, this feature is
critical for them and they are considering other solutions.
Would a 'donation' of some kind help get this greatly asked for new feature to the top of your development team's to do list?
Other Groupsite customers who are interested in this feature, please
post to this thread to let Groupsite know (and to what degree you are
interested in it).

Thanks for bringing this up.
I moved our group to Groupsite on the promise that this feature would be delivered by February. To find out that it's not even in development is disturbing.
I recommend that others add the alternatives you are considering moving to.
There's so much to like about Groupsite but my members live out of the e-mal clients and don't want to log into a website to respond to messages. I'm already seeing a drop off in member contributions and a return to "Reply All" messages.
This is a feature I would love as well.
