Links to youtube

I posted this to support, and got a reply that told me I wasn't doing anything to cause it, it is just the way it works.  I thought I would add my response to this forum.

The issue is linking to YouTube in the "shared links" section. This is a helpful section and one of the main reasons I went with groupsite. Both of my sites are music related, and I'm regularly referring students to links for study an/or pleasusre.

Until recently this worked perfectly, but now when clicking a shared link, one gets a big empty screen with some cryptic words. Last thing in the line is a note that says "close this frame" Users don't want to close the frame, they opened it to see a video. They don't know that they need to close it in order to open one - it makes  no sense and they mostly see the empty screen and give up, possibly not reading the line, and certainly not understanding it if they do.

I'm not dealing with technoligcally-savy people, and would request a more helpful note "click here for Youtube videos" or something. Best would be to go back to the way it was, with the link immediately opening.
