Navigation sidebar for Discussion Forums

This is another one of those issues that arise only as the groupsite becomes more and more depended upon with larger numbers of people, like this groupsite actually...

It becomes less and less convenient to have to scroll down to the discussion forums you want to start off with.  For one, the heading takes up a lot of the screen with the summaries below each one, which is fine.

Thus, there should be something equivalent to a table of contents on the right side that simply lists the Forum headings. I know it would instantly make his groupsite a lot easier/faster to navigate. I don't think any website that requires getting to a frequently visited section should require the user to scroll.

I for one never look at the existing recent discussions list, mainly because it's either already on the summary page, or I already know in my head what my recent posts were. In other words, I don't need it to be that convenient to access - now that's fine scrolling to get to IMO
