Mail delayed? Sort of Urgent

We're trying to get a blast out to our membership about a cancellation for tonight and we haven't seen the email come through yet. It was posted about 25 minutes ago on our site. I know I need to be patient but timing is everything to get this short-notice blast to our members.
Is there anything wrong with the mailers right now?

Looks like my blast just came through...was delayed about 1 hour...
Hi Chris,
Email is not a realtime protocol for us... sorry . We look for a problem if it is beyond an hour. Also, Mondays and Thursdays are heavy mail days for us because of all of the recent activity digests that go out. Although with our new version of recent activity, processing time has improved this considerably.
BTW, when you have an urgent request, please submit it to support@groupsite.com . There are more eyes available to address your issue.
