New mailer

Noticed digest now coming from mailer@groupsite.com. Two observations:
- Previously, the From was "[Groupsite Name] <cxmailer@collectivex.com>"
Now it is just "mailer@groupsite.com"
Any plans to insert the groupsite name back into the "from"?
- Do you think we need to warn our members about whitelisting email from groupsite.com? They didn't show up in my spam on gmail, so perhaps that is a good sign.

Hi Chris,
Yes, we changed the digest... just the aesthetics. Users like you have reported a few bugs with this change. We will be addressing them on Monday. Here are the known bugs:
1) The "from" email no longer says the groupsite name - instead says "mailer@..."
2) Also, the digests used to have a smaller 'banner' from the site - doesn't look like it's there any more, at least it's not showing up in my email (you will only see text for your groupsite logo, but you will see the Groupsite company logo
Regarding whitelisting: Many users have already added Groupsite to their whitelists when we changed the name from CollectiveX.
Here is a copy of what was sent out when we changed our name:

Dear Groupsite Manager,
We have a new name – Groupsite.com! Starting today, CollectiveX has changed its name to Groupsite.com to better serve you and our mission. Our name changed, but we're still empowering groups to make things happen - enabling them to communicate, share and network.
If you aren't using Custom Domain mapping, your Groupsite will have a new web address - groupsitename.groupsite.com - but, no worries, your old one will still work, too. Our Directory of Public Groups has a new location, http://www.groupsite.com/directory, and you'll also find some new ways to reach us.
Learn more about these changes here . And if you have comments or questions about this, be sure to tell us.
We also recommend that you add our new email addresses to your address book or white list:
· cxmailer@groupsite.com
· notifier@groupsite.com
· support@groupsite.com
· news@groupsite.com
This will help ensure your Groupsite-related communications continue to reach you.
I hope this information helps. We will address these items on Monday.

Hi Chris,
Ticket # 2608 has been created to address this issue(s).
Celeste
Ahh its good to see that Chris has identified this issue - I think members feel a lot more comfortable knowing the email is coming from the groupsite. This is one example where I think that there is a disconnect between members of a group and the platform itself (groupsites). When I have discussed the issue with members, many do not realise that groupsites is a platform that has its own workings, separate from the group they are a part of. I dont know exactly how to promote the platform better to members of my group without confusing them.
Hi Gareth,
Here are the fixes we made under ticket # 2608 as a result of deploying our New recent Activity Digest:
Thanks for keeping us updated Celeste :)
